Farm Stand Opening July 1!
Let us mill your wood! Bring us your biggest logs, your awkward trunks, or that random tree that fell in your yard. Seriously, stop hoarding fallen trees. We’ve got the blades, the power, and the complete lack of fear required to slice your Redwood, Walnut, Douglas Fir, Cedar, or some stubborn local Oak into something useful—like custom dimensional lumber, fencing, timber frames, or a live-edge slab so beautiful it’ll make your neighbors jealous.
Milling Rate: $150 per hour; $125 for Elders, Hoopa, Orleans, and Weitchpec.
This covers the mill, the fuel, and an experienced sawyer who actually knows what they're doing.
Minimum Booking: 3 hours of making sawdust. We don’t fire up the big rig for "just one quick log."
We love a good chat as much as anyone, but to keep things fair and efficient, the clock starts as soon as we say hello and start getting to work. This includes unloading, log positioning, and setups.
The Metal Tax ($50 per ruined blade): Local trees love swallowing old fence staples, homestead nails, and sometimes ancient bullets. If your log contains a hidden metal surprise that destroys our blade, you bought it. A $50 replacement fee will be tacked onto the bill.
The Byproduct Bounty: Milling creates literal mountains of sawdust and scrap slab-ends. It’s all yours! Take it home for garden mulch, chicken bedding, or firewood. We are in the lumber business, not the garbage business.
To keep our prices reasonable and our truck out of the ditch, we are strictly a stationary mill. We don’t haul logs or do house calls. Your logs have to come to us—but we will help you once you get here!
Before you load up the truck, text or email us a couple of photos of your log pile, along with the species and approximate sizes. If it looks like a rotten sponge or a giant knotty mess that'll fight the mill, we’ll let you know nicely.
Once approved, you (or your brave truck) drop the logs off at our yard. Good news: We’ve got a backhoe on-site to help you unload those monsters off your trailer. You don't have to break your back getting them to the mill deck.
No trailer? No problem. If you don’t have the horsepower to move giant logs down Route 96, let us know. We can point you toward a few local independent haulers with self-loading trucks who can do the heavy lifting for you.
We slice it to your exact specs, stack it neatly, and call you when it's done. You drive in with an empty truck, drive out with a load of custom lumber and sacks full of all the sawdust you want, then go build something awesome and tag us on instagram!
Drop us a text at 254.392.8493 or KlamathRiverVillage@gmail.com to talk about your logs and schedule a drop-off time.
